This hallucinative pseudo space represents the layout of my creative process in a physical sense, also playing with the internal view of my practice. Given that I always seem to have the most creativity burst of energy and ideas during the night, I frequently find myself staring at my own reflection in the window while I work. Including a glass shadow box to allude to this reference, the prints layered inside feature actual picture representation of the view from my window at night. Using my actual studio desk, the top surface displays prints of my books, notes, and hands at work scaled to size. Layered within multiple levels of plexiglass, the table top appears to show the history and growth of all the mental digging and inspiration that has taken place every time I sit at thee desk. I’m reminded of all that I’ve done there.  “The Odyssey of An Oddity” is a space that represents the physical and mental state of production in a way that is camouflaged, secretive, and introversive - yet loud, bold, and completely out of place.
